We recently had the pleasure of taking part in a truly unique campervan interior fit-out project, carried out in collaboration with two companies – Future Kitchens and Bathroom Studio – both specialising in the supply and installation of top-quality, bespoke kitchens and bathrooms. The project was designed entirely from scratch by Steve Liddington as his dream Race Truck, and brought to life by him, and his experienced team.
This is the world’s first campervan to feature a luxury Nolte kitchen complete with a Quooker tap, alongside a range of cutting-edge technological solutions. The interior also boasts an exquisite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, cleverly concealed behind a secret door – something you certainly wouldn’t expect in a typical camper build!
Our role was to deliver a full upholstery service: we crafted the seat cushions, ceiling, and all soft panelling – as seen in the accompanying project photos. We used soft Italian leather for the living area finish, and in the sleeping quarters, we upholstered the wall panels in a combination of velour fabric and leather, enhanced with decorative cross-stitching.
This project is yet another great example of what can be achieved through strong teamwork and the dedication of skilled professionals. The entire build can be seen in the photo gallery and a short behind-the-scenes video. Additional photos and footage documenting the project’s progress are also available on Steve’s social media pages.
