We have been contacted by one of new local customers to make a bespoke leather upholstery for a kitchen furniture. They live in a beautiful character cottage located in Cornish countryside, hence the best choice for the material was a vintage style soft Italian leather, that would complement interior of their house. They liked to have embroidery of their cottage name on the comfortable padded back of the seat as well as on custom made pillows. As dog lovers and they asked us if we can make an additional unique embroidery to their seat base and locate it in a distinctive place on the furniture as well.

Since the embroidery had to be resistant to wear, but delicate and subtle at the same time, we have created a high-density embroidery design with a combination of a satin and stiffer, but more robust fill in stitching on the project. This technique would work better on the seat base, where it may be scratched by dogs. We used threads made of high-quality polyester silk with a smooth surface structure and high gloss finish. These threads are highly tear-resistant and resistant to discoloration, friction, and water.
